Join the PRSSS in celebrating World Soil Day on Thursday December 5, 2019!
Drop by Agora in the basement of the MacMillan building at UBC between 3:00 and 6:00 PM to:
- Create a painting with soil-based paints. All supplies will be provided. Here’s some inspiration to get you excited!
- Buy PRSSS merchandise
- Brainstorm facts to help the PRSSS create a custom soil playing card deck
- Munch on soil-themed snacks
- … and hang out with fellow soil enthusiasts!
Can’t attend the event? Here’s an option to participate from afar!
The PRSSS is making a custom deck of playing cards with different fun soil facts on each card. Help us share our love and knowledge of soils by submitting your favourite soil fact(s) here! Facts should be understandable by the general public. Please make submissions max 50 words. We hope to have the decks available for purchase by our Spring AGM and Workshop next year.
